
2007 Parkersburg Homecoming Queen
Kristina Snider, 18 of Mineral Wells. Kristina is a 2007 graduate of Parkersburg South and will be a Freshman at Marshall University this fall. She loves to swim, shop and watch movies. She lists her greatest strength as communication with people and her greatest weakness is that she is a perfectionist. She is very excited about representing the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival and her hometown.
Our 2007 Miss Parkersburg Homecoming Teen Queen is 14 year old Payton Whitt of Pt. Pleasant. Miss Whitt was also named Miss Congeniality. Payton is an honor student and has received the All-Around Outstanding Teenager Award. She hopes to become a pediatrician. Payton says she is most looking forward to the Parkersburg Homecoming Festival's entertainment - - especially Kellie Pickler.

Brodie Wiggins, age 4, son of Craig and Shelly Wiggins of Mineral Wells, WV. Brodie likes to swim, ride his 4-Wheeler, play T-Ball, play with Co-coa, ride his scooter and play with his brother.
Kayla Clark, age 6, daughter of Rich and Lori Clark of Parkersburg, WV. Kayla likes to read books, cheerleading, tumbling, clogging, swimming, and riding her new bike she won in the pageant.
The Queen & Teen pageant will be held August 4, 2007.
Mid-Ohio Valley Poker Championship
The Parkersburg Homecoming Festival will host the first Mid-Ohio Valley Poker Championship on Saturday August 18th at the Boreman Wheel House at 406 Avery Street. The tournament will be a "No Limit Texas Hold 'Em" Tournament. Entry Fee is $100.00 per person. The tournament is limited to the first 200 entries.
